DJ stolen spaceship

This image for Star Wars episode VIII shows the lounge area of a luxury spaceship stolen by the hacker DJ. I was provided with a basic 3D model of the space and the circular sitting area. Production designer Rick Heinrichs wanted something sleek, slightly minimal and very well built but without loosing the Star Wars look.

I worked in this film as concept artist in the art department at Pinewood Studios, London. This was my first collaboration with production designer Rick Heinrichs.
