Eregion healing chambers

The Eregion healing chamber is a small set that is shown very briefly in the TV show 'The Rings of Power'. The elven healing chambers are small spaces with beds divided by drapery and lit by very low lanterns on the floor. The main element I had to design was the piece of furniture with the basin attached to the wall and the small window on top of it. The reverse view is showing a metal basin in the centre of the space where you can access a few bed spaces. This angle with a thoughtful Galadriel in it, was finally not added in the show.

I had the pleasure to work for almost 2 years in the art department of 'The Rings of Power' with production designer Ramsey Avery. Five months of that time was onsite with an amazing art team in Auckland, New Zealand.
