Geppetto's clock & toy shop

These are some images of the design process of Geppetto's shop. This set of concepts only shows the part of the workshop that works as a shop. It has a big display window facing the village piazza, where the kids can see the latest creations of the skilled craftsman. The interior is very tall, taking most of the light from the display window and a clock-window located at a higher level.

I made this artwork for the first cancelled version of Disney's live action film 'Pinocchio' with Rick Heinrichs as production designer. Director Paul King had to leave the project and the film pre-production was put on hold for a while. So I am not part of the crew in the final version of the film that is finally released. Nevertheless, it was an exciting project to work on.
