Harfoots - Campground & carts

These images are part of the design work made for the Harfoots. The design of the carts is based on the idea of the temporary campground. The Harfoots travel and make temporary camps, so they use their traveling carts as their homes. It was a requirement to create carts that somehow work as a transport vehicle and a tent.
When I was doing these illustrations I wanted to give to them the look of the Native American settlements and the way they were depicted in art.

I had the pleasure to work for almost 2 years in the art department of 'The Rings of Power' with production designer Ramsey Avery. Five months of that time was onsite with an amazing art team in Auckland, New Zealand.
